PADI Dive Courses

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) are the largest diver training organization in the world. PADI will issue their 20 million PADI diver certification by late 2011. PADI is by far the most widely recognized certification in the world.

PADI Courses are designed along the best modern teaching guidelines, using a system of modular programs, multi-media enhanced teaching aids and prescriptive teaching options. You can even do the theory part of your open water course on-line! Training programs follow a format that makes learning to scuba dive easy, fun and above all safe.

As we are a PADI 5 Star Centre (this status awarded by PADI) we are able to conduct a huge range of PADI training programs from complete beginner to instructor so whatever your diving aspirations, we can help you to achieve them. PADI Try Diving Experiences

	Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater. If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it, in our heated swimming pool. All the scuba equipment is provided.

	While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. Would love to scuba dive but don't want to commit to a full certification course then the DSD program is ideal! One session in the pool followed by a days diving with the option to complete up to 2 open water dives. All scuba equipment is provided and all you need to arrange is travel to and from the pool and the dive site.

PADI Learn to Dive

	The Scuba Diver course covers the fundamental diving theory and in-water skills that will permit the successful participant to dive worldwide while accompanied by a PADI professional, to a maximum depth of 12 metres. The course consists of three knowledge development sessions, three confined water/pool training dives and two open water dives conducted from the shore to a maximum depth of 12 metres. Following successful completion of the course it is possible to continue your education by upgrading to PADI Open Water Diver at any time within the next 12 months.

	The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the first full certifying course in the PADI diving education system. During this course you will learn all the skills needed to dive confidently to a maximum depth of 18 metres, independently of a dive professional.

Progress

	If you're a certified diver and haven't been diving for a while but would like to get back into the water, then this short, intensive program is for you. The PADI Scuba Review can have you confident and back in the water in the space of a couple of hours! The PADI Scuba Review helps you tune-up your diving skills & knowledge without having to repeat an entire certification course. It's for divers of all levels, designed to review and enhance what you've already learnt in a fun, action packed session.

	This course gives the PADI open water diver a taste in one or more of many exciting diving activities. Adventure dives add to the confidence and skill level of divers who participate as well as giving them skills to further their enjoyment of the underwater world.

	Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. They're what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don't have to be "advanced" to take it - it's designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.

	Complete the 5 PADI Specialties with Seastyle and get your AOW and MSD for FREE! Sign up in advance to complete the following 5 specialties with Seastyle and once you have completed all 5 then you will automatically receive your AOW. Then once you have completed your Rescue Diver with Seastyle we will then complete your MSD application for free.

	Why PADI Rescue Diver? "Challenging" and "rewarding" best describe the Rescue Diver course. Building upon what you've already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur. The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it's the best course they've ever taken.

	The purpose of the PADI Specialty Diver courses is to familiarise divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards for various special-interest areas in diving. Course Objectives: - To train divers to safely enjoy and gain open water experience in specialty diving activities. To provide awareness in areas of nature, satisfy the needs of the divers in the special areas of interest and increase the safety and activity in recreational diving.

	The PADI Master Scuba Diver certification is the highest recreational level in the PADI system of diver education. If you wanted to continue your diving education you can continue on to become a PADI Professional. As a Master Scuba Diver you'll be well qualified to begin your training as a PADI Divemaster, the first step towards becoming a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor!

	Looking for the first step in working with scuba as a career? Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level.

	The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the first portion of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) and when followed by the Open Water Scuba Instructor course (OWSI) and successful performance at the Instructor Examination (IE), leads to certification as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.

PADI Five Star Dive Center Membership is awarded to progressive PADI Dive Shops that excel in providing scuba divers with a full range of scuba certification programs, scuba gear selection, and scuba experience opportunities. To qualify as PADI Five Star Dive Center, a dive shop must meet elevated service and business standards and both promote and offer only PADI scuba diving lessons as their recreational scuba diver training. These dive shops also actively promote underwater environmental awareness and embrace the PADI System of diver education, with a commitment to providing quality training, products, services and experiences.
