This is the most popular diving course in the world. The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the first full certifying course in the PADI diving education system. During this course you will learn all the skills needed to dive confidently to a maximum depth of 18 metres, independently of a dive professional.

This course, is run by our highly qualified scuba diving instructors and is divided into 3 areas:

• Academic Training (classroom and independent study)
• Confined Water Training (swimming pool sessions)
• Open Water Training at a referring PADI Dive Centre of your choosing.

On booking this course, you will be issued with your course materials, which, includes self-study material we require you to read before attending your first class session. On completion of this course you will be awarded with the worlds most recognised diving qualification…………The “PADI Open Water Diver”.

Pre-requisites

• No diving experience necessary
• Minimum age: 10
• Able to swim 200 meters non-stop any style
• Able to tread water for 10 minutes
• Complete a medical statement attached to our booking form

• All practice pool sessions
• Dry suit training (When completing option 1 & 2 together)

PADI Junior Open Water Diver Requirements

A PADI Junior Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet.

What happen's once I complete my Academic Training and Confined Water Training?

You have 12 months in which to complete your open water training at any PADI dive center. Please contact your chosen center for prices as these do vary greatly.

We often hear, if only we could finish our training with you? But, we don't want to dive in UK waters, well now you can. We are running 2 trips to Dahab; which, is located approximately one hour up the coast from the famous resort of Sharm El Sheikh. Dahab is ideal as all the diving is shore based making this an ideal setting to complete your open water diver course, and perfect for non diving partners to.

Here at Seastyle we are more than happy to help with the referral process and also contact your selected dive center on your behalf.

You will also have the option to complete your training dives with us. You may book this option right from the start or opt to complete your dives with us upon the completion of your pool and academic training.
