PADI SMB Diver Course

Ever wondered how boat skippers can keep in contact with their divers or have you been on a dive spent most of it worrying about being picked up at the end? Be safe with boat traffic or essential for Egypt liveaboard's and UK coastal diving. Then the Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) course is for you.

You will learn about the different types of buoys and reels and during the 2 qualifying dives you will practice bottom and mid water deployment of a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) and their use during a dive and on ascent.

Pre requisites - To get your SMB Diver qualification you should be at least 12 years old and possess a PADI Open Water Diver certification or Junior Open Water Diver certification.

Location - The course has an optional pool orientation session and then one day at our local dive venue - Cromhall.

Cost £95.00. This includes equipment hire (if required) crew pack and PADI certification.
The cost does not include your site entry fees
