Air Bar

We have a on site air bar with Air, Nitrox & O2 available all year; Tri Mix is available during the high season. Air is pumped to 300bar.

Our air is tested by an independent test house and the results are on display in store.

Equipment Servicing

Our equipment maintenance department ensures that your service doesn't finish once the sale is made. One of our  specialties  is equipment maintenance; with over 30 years of experience our service department has developed unrivalled expertise.

We are authorised service agents for many of the leading scuba manufacturers, and because of this, you are assured that only genuine parts provided by the manufacturer are used. While this may not make us the cheapest servicing engineers,  it does provide you with peace of mind
that comes with a high quality service and genuine parts.

All of our servicing work is guaranteed.

Traveling Overseas?

We recommend that you have your equipment serviced well before that important dive trip or holiday and try it out before you travel, as regulators in particular can settle and may require a final adjustment to achieve optimum performance. Regulators should be serviced every twelvemonths to keep them working at optimum performance levels.

Regulator Servicing

Apeks • Aqua-Lung • US Divers • Sprio • Poseidon • Scubapro • Sherwood • Mares • Oceanic • Dacor• SeeMann Sub • Cressi • Tusa

All work is carried out on site and is managed by Elwyn Harper. We pride ourselves in our
approach to servicing your dive equipment by taking the attitude that we are servicing
life support equipment. We have invested heavily in our facility, tools and training.
Underpinning the manufacturers' training is Elwyn's 30 plus years in the dive industry.

Drager Rebreathers

We have over 10 years experience with Drager Rebreathers and can carry out both minor
and major repairs.

Oxygen Cleaning of Cylinders, Cylinder Valves and Regulators

We have procedures in place to clean and service ready for use with nitrox and oxygen.
In keeping with industry practice we recommend that this be carried out annually.

Cylinder Testing

Cylinders are tested by an IDEST/ASSET test house, this ensures cylinders and cylinder
valves are tested in accordance with the latest BS EN standards. Cylinders used for SCUBA
are required to have a Hydro test every 5 years with a visual inspection performed at 2 1/2 years. Cylinder valves in cylinders with SCUBA valves are also required to be serviced with every test or visual.

Cylinders used for pre-charged air guns, if equipped with a surface use only valve, are required to have a Hydro test every 5 years.

We can also arrange to carry out internal & external shot blast cleaning, NDT, re-zinc and re-paint.

Buoyancy Compensators

These are often ignored but are a crucial part of your life support system. We service the
low pressure inflator (LPI), check the bladder and valves.

Battery Changes for Dive Computers

We keep a stock of battery kits for Suunto and Oceanic computers and are agents for the
Uwatec range of computers. Early models have to be returned to Scubapro/Uwatec, later
models are now fitted with user replaceable which we are happy to do in store if you
don't fancy to attempt it yourself.

Drysuit Repairs (Membrane & Neoprene)

In our on site repair workshop we are able to replace latex/neoprene cuff and neck seals
on most types of diving and water sports drysuits; provide your suit with an annual inspection and service drysuit inflator valves (these do get clogged with talc); proof (leak) tests; general repairs and zip replacement.
